The 2025 Zhongguancun Forum Annual Conference was grandly held in Beijing from March 27 to 31. It was co-hosted by the Ministry of Science and Technology, the National Development and Reform Commission, the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Chinese Academy of Engineering, the China Association for Science and Technology, and the Beijing Municipal Government.

On March 6, a World Bank delegation visited the Shenzhen Emissions Exchange (hereinafter referred to as “SZEE”) for research and held discussions with officials from the Foreign Environmental Cooperation Center of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, the Shenzhen Municipal Bureau of Ecology and Environment, and the Asia-Pacific Institute for Sustainable Development Strategies.

Participants included Lu Chenggang, Division Director of the Foreign Environmental Cooperation Center of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment; Liu Chang, Second-level Researcher and Deputy Director of the Climate Change Division of the Shenzhen Municipal Bureau of Ecology and Environment; representatives from the Asia-Pacific Institute for Sustainable Development Strategies; as well as Lai Gaoyu, Chairman of the Shenzhen Emissions Exchange; Liu Yang, General Manager; and Lin Yin, Deputy General Manager.
