Recently, the 40th Anniversary Dinner of the Hong Kong Association for the Advancement of Science and Technology (HKAAST) and the International Academic Seminar on the Institute of ESG and New Quality Productive Forces were grandly held in Hong Kong. Joseph Mak, Dean of the Asia-Pacific ESG Strategy Research Institute (APESG) and Chairman of the International Association for Sustainable Economy (IASE) China Chapter , was invited to attend this grand event as a keynote speaker. With the theme “ESG Talent: The Sustainable Engine of New Quality Productive Forces”, he delivered a keynote speech that deeply analyzed the inherent synergistic logic between new quality productive forces and ESG, systematically elaborated on the core supporting role of talent in the green transformation of industries, and introduced the practical path and value of the IASE international certification system in cultivating interdisciplinary talents.

2025 Global ESG Future Talent Gala & Inaugural Ceremony of IASE China Chapter were successfully held

On October 28th, the “2025 Global ESG Future Talent Gala & Inaugural Ceremony of IASE China Chapter,” hosted by the International Association for Sustainable Economy (IASE) China Chapter and Exponential Education (China), an international academic and educational innovation platform, and co-organized by the Asia-Pacific ESG Strategy Research Institute and the Hong Kong Chamber of Commerce (Qianhai), was successfully held in Qianhai, Shenzhen. The IASE China Chapter was officially established at the meeting. With “Linking International Standards and Cultivating Local ESG Talent” as its core focus, the event brought together nearly 150 guests, including policymakers, academic experts, business leaders, and young talents, to discuss key issues such as ESG talent cultivation, localization of international standards, and green transformation of enterprises, injecting new momentum into the construction of China’s ESG talent system.
